The late British Jazz and soul singer Amy Winehouse had many unreleased tracks she recorded over the years before her untimely death a few months ago. Her record company have put these songs together to release 'Lioness: Hidden Treasures' on December 5th. Amy Winehouse was one of the most unique Singers of our time, Born and bred in London and repping Camden Town, Amy finally found international success with 'Back 2 Black' In 2005. I remember 2003 going to HMV music store to cop the 'Frank' Album. Listening to it I liked how she combined Jazz with hip hop with producer and Friend Salaam Remi who was also Nas' producer at the time. She sampled Nas' 'Made You Look' and since then built a friendship with him, going on to write 'Me And Mr Jones' about him. Which some viewed as her professing her love for him but if you listen to the lyrics she's referring to him as her Man in the music sense not as a love interest. Nas called Amy his younger sister on BET and a close friend and this new track from her upcoming Album 'Lioness: Hidden Tresures' of Un-Released material the friendship sounds evident. Nas celebrates his 38th Birthday with Jay-Z

Wednesday Night Nas celebrated his 38th birthday in New York with some of his closest friends, the list included Jay-Z, Ne-Yo, Carmelo Anthony and wife La La, DJ Khalid, Common, Mos Def and old group member Az from the Firm (Classic Album BTW) Foxy Brown seemed not to be in attendance maybe she didn't get the memo.


Nas shares his birthday with his friend the Late Amy Winehouse who many don't realize her song 'Me and Mr Jones' was about Nas. But The most notable picture I saw from the birthday bash was that of Nas and old Rival Jay-Z, last month when Lil' Wayne's Tha Carter IV leaked and people heard the Nas assisted Outro the entire Internet was shouting Shots had been fired

I love my n***a Drake say “we ain’t got time to respond to n***s”
